Product Description

According to Royal Canin's philosophy, the cat's feeding must observe important parameters, such as the age of the animal, its physiology, breed, lifestyle and any particularities. Royal Canin Sterilized in Salsa was born from the quality requirement of Royal Canin and aims to meet the preferences and nutritional needs of castrated / sterilized adult cats (up to 7 years of age), thanks to the Profile-Nutritional-Optimal formula (ONP). Already after 48 hours after castration / sterilization, the food absorption of cats increases by 20% while the energy requirement is reduced by approx. 30%. A reduced intake of carbohydrates can lead to a slight increase in the blood glucose level and consequently reduce the sense of hunger. In addition, neutered / neutered cats suffer from kidney stones more frequently, as they drink less and emit less urine. A controlled supply of mineral salts allows to maintain a correct pH of the urinary system. Royal Canin Sterilized in Salsa helps the neutered / neutered cat to maintain optimal weight and the health of the urinary system. Its controlled energy intake, combined with the reduced fat and carbohydrate content, allows the cat to meet the caloric needs, while the L-Carnitine intake favors the use of fat reserves. Royal Canin Sterilized in Salsa also helps to maintain muscle mass and protect the urinary tract by inducing a urine pH between 6 and 6.5 (acid pH).
