Specially formulated for metal applications, our Wash Primer raises a barrier against corrosion and rust due to its hardness and adhesion, providing long-lasting and professional protection in the automotive sector, aluminum primers, etc. Applications Pintyplus Tech Wash Primer is a premium primer designed to prepare stainless and polished metal surfaces prior to painting. Its key function is to ensure optimal adhesion and maximum resistance in the area to be painted. In addition, it dries very quickly, allowing you to paint over the primer one hour after having applied it. For the rest of metals, it has anticorrosive properties and is suitable for other surfaces such as plastic, wood, masonry, etc. Technical characteristics Format: Available in 400ml/520cc. Spreading: Covers up to 2m² of surface with one application. Touch dry: 10 minutes, allowing quick preparation for the next painting step. Shelf life: 10 years How to use the Wash Primer Clean rust and scale, if any, with a wire brush. Remove grease stains with solvent. The surface to be painted must be clean, dry and free of any type of contaminant. Shake the spray vigorously for 1 minute after the mixing balls sound. Spray at a distance of 25/30 cm, applying thin and quick layers, first horizontally and then vertically. This product does not need a very thick layer to fulfill its function. Once the operation is finished, invert the can and press until only gas comes out to clean the nozzle. Recommendations for use On already painted surfaces, if they are well adhered, lightly sand them to facilitate adhesion, and if they are poorly adhered, remove them. To facilitate cleaning the surface of paint residue, we recommend using Pintyplus Tech paint stripper. For a colored finish, repaint with Pintyplus Evolution. Do not use on equipment connected to the power supply and apply in ventilated areas. Once empty, the aerosol should be deposited in the yellow container.
