Also keep away from high temperature and any heat source as this too will cause material quality to deteriorate. Unless you have a loose cover suit, all covers are designed to be cleaned whilst on the upholstery frame. We recommend that a professional cleaning company be used to clean your sofa. This should be cleaned every 12-18 months. Sofas should be kept in rooms with dry air and good ventilation and avoid positioning too close to walls. Solvents will weaken and slowly decompose fibers. They will scratch and can introduce foreign contaminants that will have adverse effects on the sofa. Repetitive rubbing will eventually wear down fabric (buckles and rivets) and take care with certain clothe materials. If you need to store your sofa the best position is in its natural sitting position and avoid any heavy pressing. Loosely cover the whole sofa and keep in a dry and ventilated environment.
