1C- Low expansion foam for gun application Characteristics: 1C- Gun Foam Low Expansion has a very low post-expansion and adheres well to most construction materials such as wood, concrete, porous concrete, brick, metal and aluminium. It does not adhere to polyethylene, silicone and PTFE, though. Advantages of gun grade polyure-thane foam compared to hand held foam. Very precise application contributes to less foam being used. Easier handling and work. No leakage or dripping from the gun’s nozzle. Less cleaning required. Swift replacement of cans. Application field: Due to low post-expansion and good adhesion the foam is used for fixing and sealing various building materials such as wooden stairs and window sills etc. It is also suitable for filling narrow gaps. Precise foam application enables a faster completion of final works and economical consumption. It can be used at temperatures up to +5°C, and hardens extremely fast at low temperatures. Application: Surfaces should be clean, free of dust, grease and other impurities. Before use shake can thoroughly with the valve upside down. During foam application hold the gun in vertical position. Apply pressure on the trigger to allow the outflow of the foam. When replacing the can, the replacement has to be fast to prevent the foam from hardening in the adapter. Hardened foam residues in front of the nozzle can be removed only mechanically. Remove spilled, uncured foam with PU cleaner.
