Product Description

COLOUR: Black Quartz MATERIAL: Quartz Composite New Range TYPE: Topmount Kitchen Sinks Bridgepoint Range of Quartz sinks are made from 85% Quartz and 15% Resin, making these sink one of the strongest on the market. Please read the below guidelines to keep this product looking at its best. General Notes Quartz sinks are built to last. Quartz is an incredibly durable material, resistant to stains, cracks, and heat. Quartz is an incredibly smooth substance. Unlike many other materials, it is non-porous. It does not have the risk of catching food, oils, or acid in pores, which can wear down your sink after repeated exposure and are a hassle to clean. With the nature of cooking in the kitchen, exposure to substances is almost unavoidable for sinks. Since quartz does not have a porous surface, it’s very hygienic and odor resistant. So, you can cook freely in the kitchen with peace of mind that your sink will last as well. Use & care 1. Beware of Breakables: Since quartz sinks are meant to mimic stone, they are incredibly tough. While this has its benefits, it can also be quite abrasive for your plates and other utensils. A drop is all it would take to break anything fragile. 2. Scratches & Marks: Although quarts is very strong, it still can be scratched quite easily with the bottoms of pots and the edges of stainless-steel dishes. 3. General Cleaning: It is recommended to clean Bridgepoint sinks daily to avoid build-up of soap or mineral deposits, as these tend to have an adverse effect on the appearance of the product. For daily cleaning use an ordinary mild detergent and soft cloth to rinse and dry the sink. Allowing water or cleaners to evaporate will negatively impact the look of the sink. To avoid this, it is important to dry the sink after each use. 4. Daily: To avoid unwanted build-up, it is recommended to dry your sink after each use. 5. Cleaners: Soft abrasive cleaners may be used when necessary. Very Strong abrasive cleaners will scratch and dull the surface. a. For major stains or grime on your sink, a mixture of a half a cup of white vinegar and a half cup of water will help. Dip a cloth into the solution and rub away the grime or stain. The solution should then be rinsed off and dried to prevent damage to your sink’s finish. b. Another solution for major grime or stains, is a small amount of baking soda and water on a toothbrush. This should remove any nasty stains. Again the solution should then be rinsed off and dried to prevent damage to the finish of your sink. 6. Protection: Do not leave standing water in your sink, especially if the water contains anything that could stain the sink line tea & coffee 7. Boiling Water: Run cold water when pouring boiling water into sink.
